A spontaneous photoshoot during a daytrip exploring this town by the seaside that quickly turned into one of our favourite places in Sicily.

We started early in the morning taking the warmest dip in the Mediterranean sea as soon as we arrived. From there we walked through the small town, getting fascinated by every corner of it. Some streets and squares are so tiny which feels very welcoming and cosy. We climbed the Rocca all the way up to the castle and witnessed all the beautiful views, inclusive to the other side of the coastline.

We got pretty lost in our way out though. There were very fews signs and too many different paths to choose from. It was well past the castle closing time and it was getting dark. We went down several times looking for the exit, walking in circles, but we only realized how to get out of there when the people responsible for closing the space started to whistle. So, we started to follow the sound, and although we were the last ones, we managed to get to the entrance. Safe and sound, we devoured a much needed and well deserved slice of pizza by the sea.

As the sun completely set, we realised a strong light appeared on the beach beautifully iluminating a big spot on the sand. We thought it was so interesting like a performance was about to happen there.
But it didn’t. So we decided to do our own little performance. Okay wait up... we just couldn't miss the chance to take some photos there. So we set up the camera on the sand on top of our bags and started working with the timer, aware of some curious eyes on us which surprisingly we couldn’t care about...

We sure remember not wanting to take the train back and leave this place.
